Empowering Widowed Women
Jitolee Women Group (JWG) is a community Based Organization (CBO) located In Machakos , Kenya. Founded in 2017,the group was formed to economically and socially empower widowed women in the rural regions of Kenya. Its goal is to ensure widowed women who continue to suffer marginalization are given an opportunity to make positive differences in their lives and in the society.

Income Genaration
We believe economic empowerment of widows is key to achieving their human rights ,as well as attaining the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development. With more than 90% of the 8 million widowed women in Kenya living in extreme poverty, our programs focuses on vocational training and implementing income generating projects to empower women economically.
